Group Fitness  

 

We call our group exercise classes – Group Fitness. They're groups of people working out, enjoying fitness classes and getting in the best shape of their lives.

The Group Fitness classes are free with your gym membership and all exercise classes are designed to help you reach your own personal fitness goals in a fun and energising environment.

From teens, adults to the more mature adults, we have plenty of choices for every age and fitness level. We invite you to come in and try a Group Fitness class today and workout at you own pace. Our instructors will keep you motivated so you can relax and have fun.

Where to Start:

Take the uncertainty out of Getting Started. Introductory classes provide the tools for a safe, results-oriented workout.

Gentle Exercise - A low impact, gentle class suitable for the inexperienced and targeting the senior exerciser. This class is to improve your health & fitness in a safe & comfortable environment. Classes begin upstairs in circuit room.

Senior Movers - A low impact, gym floor circuit session with an instructor. Targeting the senior exerciser and great for you to learn how to use the the gym equipment at a slower pace.

Mind & Body

Take time out for you, slow down the pace of daily life, reduce your risk of injury, relieve stress and feel great.

Stretch/Balance - Incorporating elements of Pilates & Yoga. This is fabulous mind and body class useful for increasing flexibility, improving coordination and balance, while giving an overall sense of wellbeing.

Cardio, Cardio & More Cardio Workouts

Do your heart a favour. Increase cardiovascular health and train your body to burn fat more efficiently.

Spin Express - This is an indoor cycling program for developing cardiovascular capacity. Spin is a favourite for those wanting to reduce body fat. So ride the 'calorie killer'! This class is great for beginners to advances. Remember this is your workout so take it at your own pace.

BoxFit - Guaranteed to be a huge calorie burner, this gloves and pads class will get your fitness to a new level in no time. A combination of boxing, cardio drills and strength work that is a challenging and fun interval training class. Suitable for all fitness levels.

Cardio & Tone Combination Workouts

A mix of cardiovascular, and weights to train every muscle from in your body including the heart.

WCC (Weights Cardio Conditioning) - A mix of cardiovascular, body weight and hand weight moves. This class will give you a strong toning workout with only the tough options making it suitable for the fitter individual.

X-Fit - X-Fit incorporates the combination of aerobic conditioning, resistance training, sharp and effective training, a high-intensity fitness program incorporating elements from several types of exercise, time well spent!

HIIT 45 - Think of HIIT Class with Cardio, Weight Based Cardio Training, and Functional Movements to Burn Fat. A high intensity workout with no fancy moves.(Only 45 Minutes)

Hi/Low Boot Camp - Whether you are a beginning or just tired of the same routine, this class utilises different class formats such as hi/lo, weight training, interval training and athletic movements to burn body fat. The class is guaranteed to challenge all fitness levels.

FCT (Funtional Circuit Training)- This class is Only 45 minutes of high intensity interval circuit training that will put your strength, core stability and cardiovascular endurance under the brightest of spotlights. It’s a test of strength and, even more, a test of willpower.

Strength & Abdominals 

Lose fat, gain muscle, boost metabolism and increase your bone density.

Pumped- This is a 45-60 minute class using barbells and adjustable weights to tone and condition muscles while raising metabolic rate for rapid fat-burning. Come along to join the 'world's fastest way to get in shape'.

SCS (Strength Core Stretch)- This class focuses on strengthening, stabilising and stretching the Total Body with an emphasis on your core. A functional workout using a range of resistance mechanisms, including your own body weight, dumbbells, bands and barbells. It will open up your posture, improve your balance and flattened your abs.
